Happy Trek
Overview
Our half-day trek offers a trip into the wonders of the jungle, with a chance to see orangutans in their natural habitat. This package includes 3 hours of trekking and lunch, making it perfect for families with young children or those with limited mobility.
Itinerary
After breakfast, our team/guide will collect you at 8.30am from your guesthouse and you will start your journey into the jungle of Gunung Leuser National Park to see wild orangutans, the Thomas’ leaf monkey, white-handed gibbon, black gibbon, long-tailed macaque, pig-tailed macaque, hornbills, peacocks and monitor lizards.
On the trek (3 hours) our guide will educate you on the local wildlife, flora and fauna you may encounter in Gunung Leuser, and teach you about the local trees/plants which can be used in traditional medicine. After lunch, you will walk back to your guesthouse.

We serve Friedrice with veg, egg, chiken and fruit, for guest who is vegietarian, alergie and speial reguest please say to our guide before the trek start.

On lunch time you can enjoy a delicious lunch in the serene jungle surroundings.

with walking back.

with rafting back use traditional tube from the jungle to Bukit Lawang, normally we call this junngle Taxi. For this option is will charge 10 Euro/person, this for the local people who carry the tube.

Excludes
Permit entrance to the Gunung Leuser National Park, camera tax 10 Euros/ person for normal day and 13 Euros/ person in Sundays or red days, payable to the national park office).
What to bring

A small backpack with raincoat, toilet paper, medicines, camera + spare battery + memory card (in a waterproof bag), insect repellent, sunblock.

Please make sure your luggage is as light as possible (ideally under 10kg).

You will be provided with a 1.5L bottle of water for each person.

Clothing : long sleeves/trousers are optional as there are few mosquitos. Wearing something comfortable is most important.

Shoes : waterproof shoes with good grip/tread are essential for slippery paths.
